Meet Dan Texada, the driving force behind Texada Wealth Management. With a wealth of experience guiding individuals, families, and business owners toward financial success, Dan is dedicated to nurturing his clients' wealth as they journey through life's stages.

Before establishing Texada Wealth Management, Dan honed his skills as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch for over six years. Holding the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, alongside his health and life insurance licenses, Dan is equipped to offer comprehensive financial solutions tailored to his clients' needs.

Dan is an alumnus of Louisiana State University College of Business, where he earned his degree in Management, laying the foundation for his successful career in wealth management.

Outside of work, Dan is a wine enthusiast and youth baseball coach and enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and traveling. He, along with his wife Erin and their three children, resides in Mandeville, actively contributing to the Northshore community. Dan's philanthropic dedication extends to his role on the Partners in Giving Charity board, where he tirelessly works to make a positive impact.

As the Compliance Director and OSJ Delegate for Horizon Financial Group, Colby handles all supervision duties on behalf of Horizon Financial Group, interacting with Advisors and their staff as well as conferring and consulting with both Pete Bush, Chad Soileau, and Cetera Advisors regularly and as needed on the business of Advisors we oversee. 

Colby joined Horizon in 2006 and handles the day-to-day duties of the OSJ. She is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and holds series 7,24 and 66 securities registrations as well as membership in several focus groups at Cetera Advisors.

Prior to joining Horizon, Colby received a degree from LSU in International Trade and Finance as well as her MBA. Her experience includes a background of work in both operations and supervision aspects of the securities business. 

When she isn't working on her supervision duties on her days off, Colby enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, baking, and getting involved in her church community.
